Personal Information Protection Policy

As a provider of IT and staffing services, PANACHE Business Unit of Adhoc Corporation (PANACHE) recognizes the importance of Personal Information Protection, and believes it is our corporate responsibility in the proper collection and administration of these policies.

In compliance with the Japanese Industrial Standards JISQ15001:2006 (Personal information protection management systems - Requirements), information collected from our clients, business contacts and registered candidates (Clients) will be strictly regulated by Personal Information Protection Policy, established with consideration of social conditions and voluntary rules and frameworks that fit our company, as set forth below.

Personal Information Protection Policy

1. In order to implement this declaration, the Company shall set forth and publicize the “Personal Information Protection Policy”, and also familiarize the Company’s employees - including executives and regular employees, part-time employees, temporary personnel and other employees - and other related parties with them to implement, improve and uphold said regulations.
2. The company shall follow all laws and policies laid out by the government in relation to handling of personal information.
3. In order to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration and/or leakage of personal information, the Company shall formulate a “Security Management Plan” (security policy), and shall take appropriate information security measures, such as measures against unauthorized access and computer virus countermeasures.
4. All personal information on the PANACHE Website will be encrypted using the SSL (Security Socket Layer). In using a compatible browser for SSL, any personal information such as name, phone address and phone number etc. will be automatically encrypted when sent and received.
5. The company shall only acquire personal information by legal and fair means, not by any illegal means, and shall either obtain consent from the individual who is the subject of the information with regard to how the information will be used, or shall post any required information on the Company’s Internet web site.
6. The Company confirms that the subject of the information (individual in the personal information) has the right to disclose, amend, stop the use of (cease and desist) and purge their own personal information, and the Company shall comply with such requests from the subject of the information without objection.

About use of personal information

1. Purpose of use
   Personal information shall only be used by a party empowered to perform a specific operation within the scope of the collection purpose as long as necessary to conduct said operation.
2. Prohibited activities
   The provision of personal information to a third party is in principle prohibited.

Personal information shall not be used for a purpose other than those intended, removed from the place where it is normally used or leaked by transmission to outside parties and so forth.

The Company shall not collect, use or provide any personal information that contains the following content.

1. Information concerning ideology, belief and religion
2. Information related to race, ethnic group, lineage, permanent domicile (excluding information on prefecture), physical or mental handicaps, criminal record, or other items that could be factors in social discrimination
3. Information concerning participation in group actions, the exercising of rights to organize or the exercise of other political rights
4. Items related to participation in mass demonstrations, the use of the right of petition and the use of other political rights.
5. Matter concerning health, medical treatment, or sexual lifestyle.

At PANACHE, we will contact Clients in advance before utilizing their personal information. Furthermore, we may introduce PANACHE services and products by e-mail or mail. For those who wish to refuse receiving emails or mail from PANACHE, please contact PANACHE at the specified email address. For any references, corrections, or terminations needed for existing personal information, we request the owner of the information to please contact PANACHE directly.
